Open Bronze Expedition - suitable as a practice or assessment

What is included:

• Comprehensive pre-expedition pack including parents information and kit lists

• Supervision and training from experienced instructors

• Use of all group kit – tents, stoves, fuel, group shelters, maps and compasses

• Accredited assessor for the qualifying expedition

• Campsite fees

Participants will plan and complete a 2-day self-sufficient journey in the area of their choice. At the start of the expedition, participants will be split in accordance with their award level (practice or assessment) and allocated to a team.

Practice participants - will receive further input from the instructional team to complete the DofE training framework.

Assessed participants - will complete planning, pre-assessment checks and mandatory safety training before starting their journey.

No prior route planning is required for this course.
